Pancake Day!

Happy Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) to one & all!

This morning I made English pancakes for breakfast (they are more like crepes than thick American pancakes)

Serves: 6                    Calories: 180

  • 8oz Plain Flour – sifted
  • 2 Eggs
  • 500 ml Milk
  • pinch of Salt

Whisk all ingredients together in a medium bowl & pour a little into a hot buttered frying pan

Spread the batter around to make a thin pancake & cook on both sides until golden brown & cooked through

Serve with your favourite toppings (mine are lemon juice & sugar or maple syrup & ice cream. My husband loves nutella & bananas)
