Strawberry Cream Cheese Bread

Mmmmmmmmm…… yummy, smelt really good & tasted fantastic! Thanks to for sharing this deliciously light & very tasty bread

Serves: 10                    Calories: 315

  • 1/2 cup Butter – softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4oz Cream Cheese – softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups Fresh Strawberries – chopped

Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas Mark 4

In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar & cream cheese until fluffy

Slowly add eggs & vanilla one at a time, beating well

In a separate bowl, blend together flour, salt, baking powder & soda

Combine the two mixtures & add the buttermilk, stirring until just combined

Fold in the strawberries & pour into a greased & floured loaf pan

Bake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean

Cool before removing from the pan & slicing 🙂
