Baked Salmon

I found this on Pinterest from The Devil’s Punchbowl & was excited to try it out. I did need to cook it slightly longer than stated, but that could be due to a number of factors, like, the oven, the size of the salmon etc.

It was delicious, especially when shared with good friends & a huge salad

Depending on how big your salmon is will depend on how much of each ingredient you will need, so adjust to your specifics. I used a huge piece of salmon, so needed 3 lemons, but if your salmon is only small, 1 would probably suffice

  • Salmon
  • Lemons – sliced
  • Butter
  • Salt & Pepper – to season

Preheat oven to 300°F/150°C/Gas Mark 2

Take a large piece of tin foil & lay it on the counter

Place the lemon slices on it & then lay the salmon on top of them

Add the butter & season

Wrap tightly & cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes
