Buttermilk Banana Bread

This banana bread is good, not very healthy, but still good. It is very moist & full of sugar & also very delicious

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Mashed Banana
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Preheat the oven to 325°F/170°C/Gas Mark 3

Spray a 9 x 5 loaf pan with oil & dust with flour, set aside

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk & oil until well combined

Add in the bananas, both sugars & vanilla. Mix well

Sift in flour, baking soda, & salt. Mix well, but do not over mix

Pour into the loaf pan & bake for 1 hour. Check with a toothpick at 1 hour & bake longer if needed
