Best Bread Maker Pizza Dough


This dough recipe came from my bread maker’s recipe book & is by far the best pizza crust I have made in a long time. In our home, my job is to make the dough while my husband uses his skills & pizza tools to make & cook some of the best pizzas I have ever tasted

We always make thin crust, so ensure if you do make thin crust that you don’t put too many toppings on or it will turn really soggy & fall apart

Serves: 2 pizzas                    Calories: 620

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Shortening
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 2/3 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp Yeast

Add the ingredients, in the order listed into the baking pan of your bread maker

Select the dough setting & press start

Once the cycle is done, remove the dough & place on a floured surface. You may need to knead in a little flour to make the dough easier to handle

This makes 2 pizza crusts
