If you are anything like me then you will be so frustrated when your brown sugar goes all hard when you want to get some baking done. I found a tip on how to soften it……& it WORKS!
Place a slice of bread in with your brown sugar, the sugar will take the moisture from the bread & you will have soft sugar again. Simple, but very effective. I use this tip ALL the time now
If you want to make your own brown sugar you can blend 1 tbsp of molasses to every cup of white sugar
