Bacon Cheese Deviled Eggs

Well, I had never heard of deviled eggs until I came to Canada when I found this delicious  recipe that I get compliments for every time I serve them.

Be careful when you make them, they are very moreish

  • 12 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 rashers Bacon
  • 2 tbsp Cheddar Cheese – finely grated
  • 1 tbsp Mustard

Hard boil the eggs & allow to cool

Place bacon in a large deep skillet & cook over a medium-high heat until evenly brown, crumble & set aside

Peel the eggs & cut in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks & place in a small bowl

Mash egg yolks with mayonnaise, bacon & cheese. Stir in mustard

Fill egg white halves with the yolk mixture & refrigerate until serving
