These are such cool looking potatoes, & very delicious too! These are a Swedish dish, that can be disasterous if you cut too far down (speaking from experience).
I found that they were better if you put a little butter between each slice of potato.
- 4 medium Potatoes (One per person)
- Olive Oil
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper – freshly ground
Pre heat the oven to 425°F/220°C/Gas Mark 7
Lay each potato on it’s flatest side & slice in 3-4 mm intervals almost all the way through
Arrange the cut potatoes on a baking tray & put a little dab of butter between each potato slice
Drizzle with olive oil & scatter salt & pepper over
Bake for 40 minutes, or until the potato is crispy & the flesh soft
