Caramel Sauce


This is so delicious to have on ice cream or to dip apple slices in, Mmmmmmm

  • 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 1/4 cups Brown Sugar – packed
  • 1/4 cup Butter OR Margarine
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream (heavy)

In a 2-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, brown sugar and butter to boiling over a low heat, stirring constantly

Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

Stir in whipping cream; heat to boiling. Cool about 30 minutes

Serve warm. Store covered in refrigerator up to 2 months

Reheat slightly before serving if desired
