Teriyaki Steak Skewers

Life has just been so busy the past couple of weeks I haven’t had time to let you know about some new recipes that I have tried. As we live in a basement apartment it makes it a lot more difficult to have a barbeque, so, last week during our sweltering hot & humid weather, I made an impuse buy of a George Foreman Grill. These skewers were so delicious made with the grill, add a few vegetable kebabs & you have a wonderful meal!

  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce (check gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Molasses
  • 2 tsp Mustard Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 lbs Flank Steak – cut into thin strips
  • 20 Wooden Skewers – soaked in water

In a large ziploc bag, combine all the ingredients together, seal & shake the bag to coat the meat.

Refrigerate for at least 8 hours

Thread the meat onto the skewers & cook on a bbq or grill for 3-4 minutes on each side
