Hot Fudge Pudding Cake


I made this for Rhys’ birthday cake, yummy!

  • 1 package Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar – packed
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder – sifted
  • 2 1/1 cups Boiling Water

Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C/Gas Mark 6 & grease a 13 x 9 ” cake pan

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs & water

Beat on medium for 2 minutes, spread evenly in pan

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar,  white sugar & cocoa. Sprinkle over batter & pour boiling water gently over the top

DO NOT STIR

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set & serve warm
