Sweet & Sticky Chicken

I was so please with this last night, however, it can be made in a variety of different ways depending on what type of chicken you want

  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (check gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 tsp Ginger Root – chopped (or 1 tsp Ginger Powder)
  • 2 tsp Garlic – minced (or 1 tsp Garlic Powder)
  • 1/4 tbsp Hot Sauce (add more if you like really spicy)
  • 4 Chicken Breasts – cut into 1/2″ strips (I used chicken drumsticks, you can also use chicken wings)

Mix sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic & hot sauce in a bowl

Lightly season chicken strips

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet on medium. Add chicken & brown on both sides, about  minute per side

If using bone in chicken (chicken thighs, wings or drumsticks) cook in the oven or on a bbq or in a deep fryer until cooked

Pour sauce over chicken & simmer uncovered until thickened, about 8-10 minutes
