Oriental Chicken Wings

The flavour of these was really good, although I am not a big fan of the texture of chicken wings that have been in the slow cooker.

  • 1/2 cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 4 cloves Garlic – minced
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 2 lb Chicken Wings
  • Sesame Seeds – optional

In a bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, water, garlic, lemon juice, ginger & mustard. Mix well & set aside

Broil chicken wings for 15-20 minutes until golden, turning once during cooking. Transfer to a 3 1/2-6 qt slowcooker & discard drippings

Pour sauce over wings & stir gently to coat

Cover & cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, turning 2-3 times during cooking

If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over wings as a garnish
