Taco Soup

Since I first had this 16 years ago I have been a big fan. Such a nice dish to have on a cold, miserable day!

NOTE: Navy beans are also called pea beans or haricot. They are the type of beans used in baked beans

  • 1 lb Ground Beef – cooked & spiced with Taco Seasoning
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can Navy Beans – not all juice
  • 1 can Kidney Beans – drained & rinsed
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 1 can Tomato Soup
  • 1 can Sweetcorn
  • Taco Seasoning – to taste

Combine all ingredients in a large pot & heat until hot all the way through. If you want this can be put into the slow cooker on a low heat for an hour or so

Serve with taco chips, sour cream & grated cheese
