This was delicious, but quite simple. Give it a try if you like shrimp!
- 8oz Linguini
- 1/2 lb Mushrooms – sliced
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic – minced
- 3 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 tbsp Parsley – chopped
- 3/4 tsp Basil
- 2/3 cup Boiling Water
- 1/2 lb Cooked Shrimp
Cook the linguine until al dente
Meanwhile, over medium-high heat, heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet. Add mushrooms & stir until tender. Set aside
Melt 1/2 cup butter in the same skillet & add the garlic. Stir in the cream cheese, parsley & basil. Simmer for 5 minutes
Mix in the boiling water until the sauce is smooth, stir in mushrooms & shrimp until heated through.
Toss the pasta with the sauce & serve
